Stage 3 of 4 · Monitor

See every live site’s output against what it should be producing

Flow brings in generation data every day, compares each site with its design simulation and the weather, and flags the ones that need a look. Meters, maintenance visits, PPA contracts and REGOs sit on the same record.

The problem

Why live sites go quiet without anyone noticing

Once a site is generating, the data that proves it is working is spread across inverter portals, meter exports and service notes. The site that is underperforming is found later than it should be.

TodayGeneration data sits in each inverter maker’s own portal.
With FlowData from every site comes into one place, every day.
TodayA low month could be the weather or a fault, and nobody can tell which.
With FlowOutput is compared with the design simulation and the weather, and each site is flagged On target or Investigate.
TodayService visits and contract dates live in diaries and filing cabinets.
With FlowMaintenance, PPA contracts and REGOs are kept on the site record.

How Flow handles monitoring

Every live site measured against its own design

Performance

Tell a dull month from a fault

Flow plots actual generation against the design simulation and a weather forecast, for one site or the whole portfolio, by hour, day, month or year. Each site is marked On target or Investigate.

  • Actual vs simulated vs weather forecast, from hourly to yearly or a custom range
  • Switch between generation, import and export meters, or this site and all sites
  • Export the chart as CSV or PDF

Data and meters

Every meter on the site, and the source behind it

Data syncs automatically each day from SolarEdge, Solis or MeterOnline, or comes in from a CSV or Excel file. Meters are grouped into generation, import and export, and readings within a group are added together.

  • Daily automatic sync, plus an on-demand sync of the last 90 days
  • Weather backfill for sites with coordinates
  • Generation, import and export meter groups, in the order you choose

Maintenance

Keep every site serviced, and know what it costs

Book visits, keep the service history and see what maintenance is costing, site by site. Annual reminders queue a draft visit 30 days ahead and email the technician and asset manager.

  • Visit types from annual and quarterly maintenance to reactive, warranty and G99 inspection
  • Draft visit queued 30 days ahead, with emails at 30 and 7 days
  • Visits, spend and labour hours per site, with an ops report

Contracts and REGOs

Keep the paperwork that earns the revenue

Each site holds its power purchase agreements, with warnings as they near expiry, and a monthly summary of generation, export and the REGOs it has earned.

  • PPA contracts with terms, dates and expiry warnings
  • Monthly generation, export and cumulative totals, by year
  • REGOs counted as generation passes each MWh, with a REGO pack in Analytics

What carries forward

Generation becomes the evidence for the return

Everything measured in Monitor feeds the reporting investors and the board see, without anyone re-keying it.

Production reaches Analytics

Year-to-date generation and revenue by class, with a 12-month trend and a health score.

Performance shows on the project

The 90-day performance figure sits on the project overview, next to its CAPEX and yield.

Investors can see production

Share links can show production only, without financials, for investors who need the output.

Who it is for

Built for the people who keep sites generating

Asset managers

See which sites are on target and which need investigating, across the whole portfolio.

Operations and maintenance

Visits booked, reminders sent and the service history kept on the site.

Customers

Questions about the Monitor stage

Which monitoring systems does Flow work with?

Flow syncs from SolarEdge, Solis and MeterOnline. Data from other systems can be imported from a CSV or Excel file.

How often is data updated?

Every site syncs automatically once a day. You can also sync the last 90 days on demand.

How does Flow decide whether a site is performing?

It compares actual generation with the design simulation, with a weather forecast overlay, and marks the site On target or Investigate.

Can customers see their own site?

Yes. A read-only customer portal link is generated when the project reaches monitoring status.

Does Flow track REGOs?

Yes. The monthly summary counts a REGO each time cumulative generation passes another MWh, and Analytics produces a REGO pack.
